The Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) requires employers to have a Managed Care Organization (MCO).  MCOs provide medical management service to help injured employees.
 
  • Do you know who your current MCO is?  May 25 is the last day you can choose a new MCO until May 2020.
 
  • BWC pays for all MCO service fees out of your premium…employers pay $0.
 
  • Your MCO is totally separate from your BWC group rating discount program and TPA partner.
